Position Description:
FlexGen is currently searching for an Inside Sales Leader to drive sales and revenue of BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) products. The Inside Sales Lead will develop and implement sales strategies aligned to FlexGen’s targets and objectives. The right person will be responsible for building out the Inside Sales team, while overseeing the sales pipeline to ensure FlexGen’s sales targets are met.


Major Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential BESS clients and determine their suitability for FlexGen’s software solutions
  • Reach out to qualified leads to learn about their needs to assess the potential for deals
  • Present FlexGen’s products and services to connect with the client's needs and values
  • Negotiate terms and closing sales by finalizing contracts and ensuring all necessary steps are taken
  • Utilize CRM tools to track leads, manage customer interactions, and ensure efficient follow-up
  • Regularly report on sales performance, forecast future sales, and identify areas for improvement

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 5-8 years’ experience in sales; experience in renewable and energy storage industry preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong negotiation skills
  • A solid understanding of BESS technologies and the value they offer to customers
  • Experience in a sales role, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing CRM systems
  • The ability to identify customer needs and develop tailored solutions
