Responsibilities:

  • Leading a team of order execution engineers
  • Responsible for the professional and efficient execution of Engineer to orders
  • Ensuring continuous training and professional development of the Order Execution Engineers, particularly in project management skills, negotiation skills, and technical expertise of EagleBurgmann products
  • Support reporting of Engineer to Order projects and requested performance metrics
  • Supports implementing the strategy for the Order Execution Engineering team
  • Identifies innovative ideas that promote excellent order execution experience for our customers.
  • Ensures close cooperation with all relevant stakeholders, i.e. our customer, EagleBurgmann entities, Technical Sales Support, Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Export Controlling, Production and Delivery
  • Represents EagleBurgmann in order change discussions with the customer
  • Promotes a modern, cooperative leadership style. Fosters a pro-active work culture. Ensures Freudenberg Guiding Principles and the Code of Conduct while developing employees and driving talent acquisition and management processes. Leads by example

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor`s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the turbomachinery or pump industry preferably in Engineering, Technical Sales or Technical Project Management
  • Understanding of the Engineer to Order process
  • Knowledge of design, purchasing and manufacturing processes in mechanical engineering companies
  • High degree of customer orientation and entrepreneurial thinking
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Flexibility, resilience and assertiveness
  • Knowledge of SAP and MS office
  • Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written
  • Willingness to travel internationally
