We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager – Buildings to join our team on the ASWA project. This key leadership role will oversee the building design interface, working closely with the design team to resolve buildability challenges while ensuring delivery is aligned with program, quality, contractual, and profitability targets.

The Project

The project includes the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the plant with first production in 2028. Works include marine works and tunnels, seawater intake system, a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, groundwater system, drinking water storage and pump system, supported by civil, electrical and bulk earthworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design development and coordination process, extracting buildability issues early to ensure efficient delivery.
  • Prepare and update Head Contract and subcontractor programs.
  • Support the contract administration process including NODs, EOTs, and variation claims.
  • Maintain and review short-term programs in collaboration with the site team.
  • Lead and contribute to the preparation of client monthly reports.
  • Assist in the preparation and assessment of subcontractor scopes and tender packages.
  • Oversee site establishment planning and logistics including cranage, amenities, gantries, and public interface.
  • Chair and review minutes for design and services coordination meetings.
  • Support subcontractor engagement through regular meetings and collaborative planning.
  • Conduct regular site walks and maintain site diary records.

Required Skills and Competencies

You are a proactive, solutions-driven leader with a strong background in building construction and design coordination. You’re confident managing stakeholders across disciplines and thrive on driving quality outcomes under tight timelines. You will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in a Site Manager or Senior Project Engineer role within the buildings sector.
  • Proven ability to coordinate design and services effectively.
  • Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A collaborative mindset with a strong eye for detail and delivery.
