Responsibilities:

• Oversees daily operations of assigned work area, line or cell, ensuring that all team members are performing their tasks efficiently and safely

• Advanced machine operation, product assembly, and/or inspection of product

• Safety leader for overall work area including machine safety; guides others in safe practices

• Responsible for 5S of work areas

• Responsible for scrap reduction; recommends/drives efforts in this regard

• Responsible for training/cross-training personnel.

• Provides break coverage when needed

• Assures adherence to standard work; work order/material management

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED

• 6+ years of production or assembly experience preferred.

• White Belt certification

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
