Job Description:

Key Responsibilities/Duties

• Monitor and audit all Construction Railway Operations (CRO) protection to ensure it is aligned with Works Train Manual and other CRO Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and report findings to CRO Manager
• Issue CRO protection to contractors as required, including lamps, flags, stop signs etc
• Place CRO protection as instructed by Track Access Controller (TAC)
• Attend Permit to work meetings when required
• Issue keys for SER , Power and Comms room under CP04 control as required, in accordance with the CRO key issuing process
• Assist the Works Train Manager (WTM) with CRO training
• Any other CRO functional requests from CRO Manager or WTM

Location and hours of Work

• The CRO Assistants will be expected to work Monday to Friday 8 hours per day 160 hours per month, with start times of either 06:30 or 14:00, dependent on CRO requirements.
• The CRO Assistants place of work will be at the OCC or temporary location within the depot area . On occasions the CRO Assistants will be requested to work with the Project Senior Commissioning Manager or other engineering staff within the main office situated at Nex Building , Ayala Avenue , Makati.

Job Specifications, Education and Experience  

• Railway Engineering Experience
• Competent in speaking and reading English.
• Competent in MS Office suite of programs.
