Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Drive the development and sales of service and support contracts, as well as other after-sales services and products, within the UK market.

  • Identify high-potential growth areas and create strategic plans to penetrate relevant markets effectively.

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers across key business sectors.

  • Achieve defined sales growth targets, expand market coverage, and ensure profitability is maintained.

  • Develop, prioritize, and execute targeted sales initiatives in alignment with overall business objectives.

  • Contribute to the implementation of local sales strategies in coordination with wider business goals.

  • Collaborate with the New Machine and Engineering teams to support sales reporting and forecasting processes.

  • Prepare and deliver detailed sales reports to the Head of Sales or Sales Director as required.

  • Coordinate closely with the Projects Team during and after the sales process to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Provide support during contract negotiations to ensure commercially sound and mutually beneficial agreements.

  • Assist in marketing initiatives for relevant business segments and represent the company at exhibitions and conferences when strategically beneficial.

  • Contribute to product development initiatives and support innovative solutions led by the business lines.

  • Work collaboratively with service and project engineers across business areas to ensure seamless customer support and project delivery.

  • Support the Sales Administration team with order processing tasks and ensure smooth handover of information for new projects.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM systems, including forecasting and sales activity reporting.

  • Actively collaborate with colleagues across all divisions to identify and develop cross-selling opportunities.

  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with the Business Line team based in Parma to ensure alignment and mutual support.

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • Education: Degree or HNC/HND in a relevant field, or equivalent experience in sales.

  • Training: Formal training in sales negotiation techniques.

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in aftermarket/service sales of engineered process equipment, ideally within relevant industrial markets.

  • Knowledge and/or hands-on experience with homogenization processes and homogenizers.

  • Proven track record in a structured sales organization.

  • Sales Expertise: Solid understanding of the full sales process, including sales organization methods, ordering systems, pricing strategies, and CRM tools.

  • Demonstrated ability in customer negotiations and contract management.

  • Business Acumen: Broad understanding of business operations with a strong focus on identifying and meeting customer needs and expectations.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in computing and business software, particularly Microsoft Office applications.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and listening skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Effective team player with strong networking abilities.

  • Customer Orientation: Highly customer-focused with the capability to build strong relationships and deliver value across diverse client profiles.
