Job Description

Job Purpose 

The tasks of logistics include the management and control of all goods inventories and goods movements, of individual internal production locations. Products should be produced safely, in the right quantity, in the right quality at the right production location, at the right time and at the lowest possible cost. 

Key Tasks 

• Procurement and supply chain management 
• Arranging for delivery of goods 
• Production and distribution of data carriers 
• Sales order processing and contract management
• Inventory control
• Communication with suppliers 
• Working with ERP System
• Processing of return shipments 
• Customs reporting and documentation 

Job qualifications

• Fluent in German and English

• Successful education in transport and logistics 

• Good IT-knowledge and preferably experience with a CRM system
• Good coordination and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment with short deadlines
• Good understanding of airfreight and curriers processes and services
• Solid knowledge in customs clearance and trade control  
• First work experience in logistics is an advantage
• A valid drivers licence
