Summary
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for a wide range of maintenance related duties, including but not limited to, landscaping, pressure washing, leaf blowing, cleaning parking lots and debris removal. This position is responsible for providing basic interior facility maintenance support in areas of plumbing, drywall and painting.
Schedule
- Four 10-hour shifts working Monday- Thursday. Hours would be 10:00am - 8:30pm. With flexibility on the scheduled days
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with keeping the facility in a clean and orderly condition by providing basic interior facility maintenance support
- Provide outside facility maintenance to include landscaping, leaf blowing, pressure washing, parking lot cleaning, and debris removal
- Maintain organized records of repair details and communications
- Follow all company safety policies and practices
- Stand, climb, bend, lift up to 50 lbs. for an extended period on concrete floors
- Other job duties as assigned
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma
- 1-2 years experience
Requirements – Skills, Job Knowledge & Abilities
- General understanding of facility maintenance and landscaping tasks and tools
- Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with individuals at all levels both internal and external
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook and ability to use UpKeep Facility Maintenance software
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, adhere to deadlines, handle frequent changes, follow through on issues in a timely manner, and give excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Familiar with OSHA safety requirements
- Ability to travel locally and work a flexible schedule including weekend shift(s)
- A current driver's license and acceptable driving history is required
