About the Role

The Vice President, Impact Management will play a key leadership role in measuring, managing, and maximizing the social and environmental impact of IIX’s innovative financial products. These include instruments such as the Orange Pipeline Fund, Women’s Livelihood Bonds (WLBs), and other blended finance solutions that mobilize capital for gender-lens investing, sustainable finance, and high-impact enterprises.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned impact management expert with a strong background in impact measurement, ESG integration, and data-driven reporting. This role will ensure that IIX’s investments and financial products are delivering measurable, evidence-based impact aligned with global frameworks such as IRIS+, GIIN, SDGs, and other sustainability standards.

This position is responsible for refining impact methodologies, leading impact reporting, engaging stakeholders on impact strategy, and ensuring compliance with best-in-class impact frameworks. The Vice President, Impact Management will also play a critical role in positioning IIX as a global thought leader in impact investing and sustainability metrics.

Reporting to Natasha Garcha, Senior Director of Innovative Finance, the VP will work cross-functionally with investment, structuring, and partnership teams to ensure that impact is at the core of IIX’s financial innovations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Impact Measurement & Reporting

• Lead the production of impact reports, white papers, and case studies, showcasing the effectiveness of IIX’s investments to empower women, advance climate action, and build economic resilience.

• Ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting to investors, partners, and stakeholders.

• Design, implement, and refine impact measurement frameworks for IIX’s financial instruments, ensuring alignment with IFC performance standards, SROI, ICMA Sustainability Bond Guidelines and other global impact standards.

• Oversee the impact data collection process, working with investees and partners to ensure robust data quality and compliance with reporting requirements.

• Develop and oversee impact risk assessment methodologies, integrating social and environmental risk factors into investment decision-making.

2. Strategy & Leadership in Impact Management

• Support senior director to develop and oversee the IF team’s impact strategy for all our financial vehicles (WLB, WCF, Orange Pipeline Fund, etc.).

• Work closely with IIX credit/portfolio management teams to ensure that impact considerations are integrated into capital allocation decisions.

3. Stakeholder Engagement & Investor Alignment

• Work closely with impact/sustainability leads from IIX’s investors and funders to align impact expectations with financial performance, ensuring transparency and accountability.

• Develop customized impact measurement reports for partners in adherence with their templates

• Manage engagement with standard-setting bodies and SPO providers to shape the evolution of impact finance policies.

4. Cross team collaboration

• Collaborate with the fundraising and partnerships team to support impact-driven capital mobilization efforts.

• Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to translate impact data into compelling narratives for ongoing campaigns under IIX and/or the Orange Movement.

• Collaborate with the IIX platforms team and IIX ValuesTM team to support the ongoing development, refinement and utilization of IIX’s proprietary impact reporting tools and dashboards (powered by IIX ValuesTM). Note: possible dual/dotted reporting lines when required.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Impact Measurement & Reporting

✔ Produce 2 high-quality impact reports for WLB Series per bond per year and all supplementary ad-hoc/ongoing reporting to investors and key partners linked to the WLB and WCF

✔ Produce impact due diligence presentations to support fundraising and due diligence efforts

✔ Maintain a data accuracy and compliance rate of X% across all impact reporting activities

Strategy & Thought Leadership

✔ Position IIX as a top-tier leader in sustainable finance by creating compelling data analytics briefs (using information from IIX Values, Orange Seal, etc.) and human interest stories on end beneficiaries

✔ Develop and refine IIX’s impact risk framework, ensuring alignment with best-in-class industry standards.

Innovation & Compliance

✔ Ensure 100% compliance with impact reporting requirements across all financial products

✔ Lead field visits in Southeast Asia along with local teams when required (travel will be involved for site visits)

✔ Support ongoing refinement to IIX Values to including countries, sectors, or standards that are a part of IIX’s IF team’s innovative financial products

Key Qualifications & Skills

Required:

✔ Masters or equivalent master’s degree in finance, economics, sustainability, or a related field.

✔ 5+ years of experience in impact measurement, ESG investing, or sustainability strategy within financial services, impact investing, or development finance.

✔ Deep expertise in IFC performance standards, SROI, ICMA Sustainability Bond Guidelines and other global impact reporting frameworks.

✔ Experience developing and implementing impact risk assessment models Including climate risk and conflict risk

✔ Ability to translate complex impact data into compelling performance reports and writing human interest stories for reporting purposes and to support fundraising.

Preferred:

✔ Familiarity with blended finance, gender-lens investing, and innovative financial instruments.

✔ Experience with data analytics, impact verification technologies, or tech-driven impact measurement tools.
