Country MEAL Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Country MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) Manager to join our team in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The successful candidate will lead our MEAL efforts, ensuring the effective implementation of monitoring and evaluation systems across all our programs in the country.

• Develop and oversee the implementation of MEAL strategies and systems for all country programs
• Lead the design of monitoring and evaluation frameworks, including logical frameworks, theories of change, and indicator plans
• Manage the collection, analysis, and reporting of high-quality program data
• Coordinate and conduct program evaluations, assessments, and research studies
• Provide technical support and capacity building to program teams on MEAL best practices
• Ensure compliance with donor requirements and organizational standards for MEAL activities
• Collaborate with senior management to use MEAL findings for strategic decision-making and program improvement
• Manage and mentor the country MEAL team, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement
• Represent the organization in relevant MEAL forums and coordinate with external stakeholders
