Le programme Women’s Economic Empowerment through Cashew Processing (WEECAP) est une initiative de cinq ans, soutenue par la Fondation Mastercard et déployée en Côte d’Ivoire, en Guinée-Bissau et au Sénégal. WEECAP transforme la filière anacarde ouest-africaine en alignant inclusion et compétitivité pour capter la demande mondiale, attirer l’investissement et ouvrir de nouvelles opportunités économiques aux jeunes femmes et hommes.
WEECAP agit sur les principaux leviers de la filière en connectant fournisseurs et acheteurs stratégiques, en structurant des chaînes de valeur résilientes et en mobilisant des solutions financières ciblées. En parallèle, nous renforçons les capacités des jeunes entreprises, appuyons la mise en place de cadres politiques solides et générons des résultats concrets grâce à une approche pragmatique et orientée marché.
Notre ambition collective : faire de la filière anacarde un moteur régional de compétitivité, de valeur ajoutée et d’inclusion.

Position Overview:
The Supply Chain Linkages Specialist in Senegal plays a crucial role in strengthening market connections, improving efficiency, and ensuring sustainable sourcing.
The consultant will support processors having access to raw cashew nuts and kernels
The role focuses on expanding market access through partnerships.
He will play an important role as an interlocutor for the various players in the cashew value chain, with the aim of facilitating access to the raw material and, more generally, improving the various connections within the value chain.
Strategic Planning
- Develop in collaboration with the Competitiveness & Supply Chain Regional Director
a work plan with tangible goals and timelines to establish linkages among cashew stakeholders in Senegal
- Ensure the adaptability of project interventions to emerging opportunities and sectoral changes in Senegal
Stakeholder Engagement & Partnership Development
-Coordinate with government agencies, NGOs, and private sector actors to align supply chain strategies.
Traceability & Certification Compliance
Data Analysis & Reporting
-Conduct diagnostics and assessments to evaluate market opportunities and constraints.
-Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain efficiency, sustainability, and market access.
-Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
