Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW

The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate, organize, and provide maintenance and accessibility of both physical and electronic documents for Talen Montana, LLC. The employee develops and implements efficient filing systems, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies. Responsibilities also include training staff, auditing files, and collaborating with other departments to facilitate information flow. The position must build effective relationships with business partners and supported business lines. Position communicates effectively in a verbal and written manner.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate File Services / Records Management for Talen Montana

  • Oversee the Field Change Notice work management process ensuring timely and accurate completion

  • Provide end-user training and support for applicable systems

  • Be the liaison for Corporate File Services / Records Management Services

  • Provide best practices guidance and support to enable efficient records management

  • Utilizing personal productivity software such as spreadsheets, databases and query tools for data analysis, verification, and presentation

  • Staying abreast of current and emerging technologies through formal and informal training

  • Building effective relationships with business partners and works collaboratively with the business lines to set realistic expectations and deliverables

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates and 2 years related work experience; or, HS Diploma or equivalent and 4 years administrative work experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related software. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS/BA

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present ideas in a concise and focused manner.

  • Strong understanding of records management principles, best practices, and relevant regulations.
