Proposal Manager/Senior Proposal Manager

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Proposal Manager or Senior Proposal Manager to join the firm’s award-winning marketing team in our Richmond, Virginia office. To be successful in this role, you should have at least ten years of experience in marketing and proposals at an A/E firm. The ideal candidate will have well-rounded capabilities in written communication and graphic design including knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects independently. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Proposal Development - Coordinate and manage the preparation of marketing proposals, submittals, and qualifications ensuring that all aspects of proposal and other marketing materials are accurate, timely, and compelling.
• Take the lead role in the development of complex RFP responses
• Manage capture plans to position us to win key pursuits
• Monitor leads, managing daily lead and opportunity tracking
• Manage and assist in preparation during the shortlist process
• Perform quality assurance/quality control reviews and lead color review meetings
• Cultivate strong, trusted working relationships with management and technical staff
• Data and content management, recording and maintaining information within Deltek Vantagepoint

Skills/Requirements:

• Minimum 10 Years’ experience working in the AEC industry
• Actively involved in the AEC community with existing relationships
• Has a complete understanding of the AEC marketing process including VDOT, SF330, and AE1-6
• Complete knowledge of Microsoft, Adobe, and Deltek
• Ability to develop and run multiple projects and teams with minimal oversight
• The ideal candidate will have experience with VDOT pursuits
• A positive attitude
• Exceptional writing and editing skills
