Job Description
Our international team is searching for a new member to take over the responsibility as Solution Designer of projects in automation and intralogistics solutions in a multicultural region Eastern Europe and Middle East/ Africa. 50% of your time will be dedicated to projects in Poland.
In your role as Solution Designer, you support our network partners as well es end- customers, in optimizing ready projects or consult in greenfield projects regarding automated and semi- automated solutions. Within our internal network you increase knowledge of products as well as solutions through continuous support of local efforts in EE/MEA region.
In additional to that, you build competences in the countries and design automation logistics solutions for end customers with aim to increase the KION brands footprint in automation in EE/MEA region.

Tasks and Qualifications:
Your responsibilities (in detail)
- Support network partners and end customers in solution design, focusing on complex, more-dimensional intralogistics automation projects (simulations, technical products and solutions, conceptual framework of project preparation)
- Assure adequate access of network partners to required information (product and solution) as well as providing webinars, trainings and workshops
- Tailor solutions to actual market situation and respective local organizational structure in dedicated countries
- Working as a communication bridge between countries, headquarters and technological partners
- Development of the sales network, including driving them into competence absorption/ promotion of automated solutions in the market
- Assessment of project complexity and application to deliver best fitting logistics solution
- Development of customer specific and application specific logistic concepts to set up automated guided vehicles (AGV)
- Analysis and planning of the end-to-end processes in consideration of complex solution requirements (Product and service requests)
- Evaluation, risk assessment and technical qualification of final (technical or/and commercial offers) to create a solid base in further project realization
These are our requirements:
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering, logistics or similar
- Proven professional experience in handling projects
- Ability to navigate within international structures and communicate with various stakeholders simultaneously
- Experience with automated guided vehicles and automation is an advantage
- Very good English skills required; German/French or any other East or SE European language beneficial
- Driving licence B
- Comfortable with MS Office applications, Project tools and preferably experience with AutoCad
- Willingness to travel (up to 50% of time)
