This is how you will grow:
- Work with TPMs and the Engineering Leads to ensure that all defects are properly documented and updated, and that relevant information is communicated effectively.
- Work with Development and Feature TPMs to ensure that defects have clear ownership and that the next steps are clearly defined.
- Work closely with Component ECU-level TPMs, development, verification and validation, and product management stakeholders to ensure clear communication regarding defects and their status.
- Ensure that bug boards assess and prioritize defects based on severity, impact, and customer requirements to address critical issues promptly.
- Hold regular reviews for critical defects to ensure timely closure.
- Generate weekly defect reports on defect trends, and the status of defect resolution to stakeholders at the Bug, Release, and Program reviews.
- Define, measure, and report on defect management SLAs.
- Evaluate the risks associated with defects and make recommendations for mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with the stakeholders, perform analysis to determine the root cause of defects, and facilitate discussions to prevent recurrence.
- Identify areas for process improvements in defect management and quality assurance practices.

Requirements
This is how you will take us forward:
- Years of Experience Required: 7-10 years
- Degrees or certifications required: Computer Science BS
- Quality, Tester, Software PM experience, auto industry experience all required
- Must understand defect management process. Defects closed is main KPI;
- Software Development lifecycle experience needed
- Experience with Jira, dashboard, PM management software
- Proficient in Smartsheet and MS Projects
- JAMA, GIT configuration management tool
