Queen's Engineering Competition (QEC) Challenges Coordinators

The Queen’s Engineering Competition (QEC) is an annual event that allows engineering students from different disciplines attending Queen’s University to compete in a variety of engineering competition categories. QEC showcases the innovation and creativity of Queen’s Engineering students, throughout a weekend of good-natured competition. The winners of each category are selected to compete at the Ontario Engineering Competition (OEC), where they compete for cash prizes and a chance to attend the Canadian Engineering Competition (CEC).

We are currently hiring Challenges Coordinators to join our team!

General

• Work term will be from June 2025 to the Conference date in November 2025
• Passion for creativity and innovation in STEM
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong work ethic

Challenges Coordinator

• Determine the outline of the challenge and ensure feasibility
• Supervise competitors and run challenge on day of competition
• Work with logistics team to determine the size of venue and budget needed for resources
• Create and present a delegate/rubric package for each challenge

Applications are due June 11th, 2025 at 11:59PM. Interviews will occur the following days.
