Join GEA as Global Technical Sustainability Manager and become a driving force in delivering innovative energy solutions for top-tier process industries. From heat integration modelling to hands-on customer collaboration, your work will be central to global decarbonisation efforts.
At our office in Søborg, you will be part of a strategically critical team of 5 people dedicated to optimising energy use, improving efficiency, and supporting net-zero transformations across industries. And this is just the beginning, since we already know that we will expand our global efforts and eventually create similar teams in other locations. So even though the team works within an industry leader, you'll join a team energized by the excitement and spirit of building something new.
In this role, you will be a key driver of decarbonisation efforts for some of the world’s leading process industries. With a mix of strategic insight and technical know-how, you lead energy audits and develop sustainability concepts that go far beyond conventional utility optimization. From the first customer meeting to the final performance guarantee, your work helps transform complex industrial systems into smarter, more energy-efficient operations.
More specifically, you will:
Conduct on-site energy audits and deliver tailored, plant-wide optimization strategies
Design and present technical decarbonization concepts using tools such as heat pump modelling and full process simulations
Develop feasibility analysis tools and internal training materials to strengthen GEA’s sustainability expertise
Support project execution, ensuring technical performance and energy savings are delivered as promised
Collaborate closely with customers and internal stakeholders to drive long-term sustainability outcomes
This role will take you travelling approximately 50 days per year to handle customer-facing engagements and fieldwork.
