Job Description

Ambrook’s mission is to help family-run American businesses become more profitable and resilient.

From record-breaking droughts to rising input costs and unpredictable markets, operators across American agriculture and industry are navigating increasing pressure — much of it driven by a changing climate and economy. Many of the best long-term investments — like water-efficient irrigation or improved grazing rotations — support both the land and the bottom line. But even when the payoff is clear, these changes often require upfront capital and financial clarity that’s hard to come by.

With fragmented records and outdated tools, business owners can’t easily see what’s working — let alone prove viability to a lender, partner, or the next generation.

Ambrook is rebuilding the financial infrastructure that independent operators rely on.

We replace paperwork and legacy systems with modern tools for accounting, banking, invoicing and spending — built for people who spend more time in the field than in the office. Our platform gives producers the financial clarity they need to make confident investments in their land, their operation, and their future.

Our customers are the backbone of the real economy — stewards of land, labor, and legacy. When they can invest in ways that make their businesses stronger and more durable, they become a force for generational resilience across America.

We’re starting with farmers and ranchers across the country — helping them keep the family business in the family and make decisions that stand the test of time.

We’re a Series A startup backed by top investors (Thrive Capital, Dylan Field, Homebrew, Designer Fund, BoxGroup, and more) and are looking for early team members who are looking to untangle the knotted intersection between American industry, climate, and the economy.

The Opportunity

Ambrook is built in partnership with the people we serve. We have logged countless hours in the field learning how financial decisions get made – all in the context of real life, on the ground. We sit with the folks who support them – accountants, bankers, and funding program managers. We attend industry group meetings to stay close to what communities of operators care about. These connections shape our product and build deep empathy across our team.

As our customer base grows, we need to increase our capacity to bring these stories to a wider audience. We’re hiring a Field Storyteller to capture and share the work of farmers, ranchers, and small business owners across America and contextualize Ambrook’s impact.

You’ll travel to customer operations, document their stories through video and photography, and turn those moments into content that connects with audiences. You’ll serve as the face of Ambrook on the road and for many, be the impression that deepens their loyalty in our brand. You’ll report to our Creative Director and work across customer success, sales, and product marketing to repackage and share these stories widely in various form factors that engage our different audiences.

What You’ll Own

Story capture in the field:

Travel to customer operations across the country to document their work through video, photography, and short-form interviews – capturing authentic, unscripted moments that bring their stories to life.

Being the face of Ambrook:

Ensure customers feel supported, seen, and celebrated throughout the storytelling process – from the first conversation to the final content.

Content production and packaging:

Turn raw footage and photography into ready-to-use content across various formats – short videos, social posts, ads, etc – always putting the customer’s story at the center.

Social media management and live capture:

Own Ambrook’s social media content calendar, production, and posting, including live posting from customer visits, events, and other on-the-ground moments that bring our brand to life in real time.

Cross-functional collaboration:

Work across customer success, sales, and product marketing to repackage and deliver content that supports customer engagement, lead generation, and brand storytelling goals.

Within 1 Month, You’ll...

  • Shadow customer success on calls to learn how we build relationships and show up for customers.

  • Learn Ambrook’s brand and voice and help establish how they play out in motion.

  • Hit the ground running – planning, capturing, and producing 5 customer stories in your month.

  • Deliver your first set of photo and video assets, ready for use across social, sales, and paid channels.

  • Establish a repeatable workflow for turning raw footage into publishable content at pace.

Within 3 Months, You’ll...

  • Become a content production machine – capturing, producing, and delivering a steady stream of high-quality content ready for customer success, sales, and marketing to deploy.

  • Maintain a high output while continuously improving your production process to be faster and more efficient, without sacrificing quality.

  • Repackage and distribute content across formats and channels, ensuring every team has what they need to engage our audiences.

  • Expand into new content formats or distribution methods based on what’s performing.

  • Maintain a consistent publication cadence on socials and increase engagement with our followers.

About You

  • You’re a storyteller at heart – photo and video is simply your medium.

  • You thrive in the field – capturing real stories, on the ground, in real time.

  • You’re personable and curious, able to build trust quickly and ask thoughtful questions that surface the most compelling story.

  • You have experience producing high-quality photo and video content quickly and consistently.

  • You know how to turn raw content into polished assets across multiple formats and channels.

  • You are well-versed in social media management and are confident in capturing yourself.

  • You’re adaptable and open-minded, always looking for better ways to work.

  • You’re an AI evangelist, eager to test and apply new tools that supercharge production and help you move faster without sacrificing quality.

  • You are capable of adopting a variety of tools at a pro level, including Figma (Design), Jitter (Animation), Descript and Veed (Video), Riverside (Interviews), or whatever else comes along next.

  • You bring creative ideas but aren’t precious – you balance speed and quality to keep content flowing.

  • You’re a self-starter who can own projects end-to-end, from planning to publishing.

  • You collaborate well across sales, marketing, and customer success to meet real business needs.

  • Bonus: You have experience in agriculture, rural storytelling, or working directly with small businesses in American industries.
