We want you for...
To support our project management services team in Karlsruhe we are looking for you in full time (40h) and unlimited, as Cost Controller (m/f/d). Your mission
  • As a Cost Controller you compile various project cost reports: actuals, VoWD, forecasts, accruals (including actual vs budget analysis, EAC, trends analyses). 
  • You are responsible for forecasting expenditures, planning budgets, classifying costs by type, tracking man-hours allocated to a project, verifying supplier invoices and managing change events that impact the budget. 
  • You will verify cost allocation against work orders, correct coding of requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, invoices, estimates, changes and variations. 
  • You take care of controling the project cost outcomes, by monitoring and analyzing variances, control financial aspect of the project recommending appropriate interventions. 
  • You will ensure sure project work in terms of cost control is performed in compliance with existing procurement, cost processes/procedures, ensuring best practices are consistently applied and high-quality information are gathered and available for auditing purposes. 
  • You will work closely with accounts payable to ensure that invoices are coded correctly to jobs so that all expenses are easy to track. 
Your profile
  • You have a degree (Diplom/Master/Bachelor) in Finance/Business Administration/Construction. 
  • You are experienced in the chemical, oil & gas or related industry. 
  • You have at least 5 years of related working experience in construction projects. 
  • You come with knowledge of SAP PS, CO, FI, MM 
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office especially MS Excel & Power BI. 
  • Fluent negotiation skills in English complete your profile.
