Job Description

About The Venture

At PAVE Space, we’re building the future of industry in orbit. Our first mission: unlock true in-space mobility—access to any orbit within 24 hours. To get there, we’re developing, manufacturing, and testing a new kind of space vehicle from the ground up.

We move fast. We think across disciplines. We act with precision.

We’re looking for a Founder Associate to work directly with the CEO—driving fundraising, owning critical deliverables, and tackling high-stakes strategic problems. You’ll operate at the nerve center of a venture pushing the edge of space tech.

This role is for someone who thrives under pressure and performs at a high level. You’ve likely seen that bar before—whether in VC, consulting, or a similarly intense environment—and you’re looking for more meaning and velocity. You’re confident with numbers and comfortable around hardware. A STEM degree is your foundation; speed and clarity are your edge.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead strategic fundraising work—pitch prep, financial models, grant writing, and investor engagement.

  • Take full ownership of R&D and grant applications—craft proposals, present, and drive them home.

  • Analyze trade-offs across technical, legal, and commercial issues. Deliver clear, actionable recommendations.

  • Structure information and turn ambiguity into insight—fast.

What We’re Looking For

  • Top-tier analytical and execution skills—honed in high-performance environments (VC, consulting, etc.).

  • STEM degree required. You don’t need to be an engineer, but you must speak the language.

  • Fluent in Excel, PowerPoint, and strategic communication.

  • Strong written and verbal communicator. English required. French is a plus.

  • Self-directed, intellectually curious, and relentlessly reliable.

What You’ll Get

  • A front-row role in building one of Europe’s most ambitious space ventures.

  • Full exposure to the strategic, financial, and operational heartbeat of the company.

  • Autonomy, speed, and the chance to grow into a leadership role.

  • A team that values sharp thinking, high standards, and bold execution.

What We Value

Bold Vision – We challenge the status quo and pursue ideas that push the limits of what’s possible in space.
Operational Precision – Excellence is non-negotiable. We sweat the details and deliver with discipline.
Ownership & Accountability – We take full responsibility for our work, decisions, and outcomes.
Learning Mindset – Curiosity drives us. We learn fast and grow faster.
