Job Description

DESCRIPTION 

Do you have experience managing large scale renewable energy projects, particularly in solar and BESS? We’re looking for a Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of solar and hybrid power systems globally.

This role requires you to be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle for commercial, industrial, and utility-scale solar and BESS projects. You will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, managing both the technical and commercial aspects from contract signature to handover. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive the project timeline, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards throughout. The role will also involve stakeholder management, budget control, and risk management, ensuring the efficient and successful execution of each project.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, or a related field

  • Relevant certifications in project management is advantageous

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, specifically solar and BESS projects

  • Experience in managing project budgets, financial forecasting, and cost control

  • Proven track record in managing international, large scale energy projects

  • Strong experience with EPC coordination and delivery

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Proficiency in project management systems

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Project Management: Manage the entire lifecycle of solar and BESS projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards

  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project execution

  • Financial Management: Develop and manage project budgets, approve invoices, and implement cost-control measures

  • Coordination: Oversee and facilitate EPC activities, ensuring collaboration and smooth communication among all teams involved

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Ensure clear communication with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals

  • Contract Management: Oversee the negotiation, management, and compliance of contracts to ensure timely and successful project delivery

  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success

  • Quality and Safety: Maintain high standards of health, safety, and quality control across all project activities

  • Documentation and Reporting: Regularly prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication

  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to internal processes, tools, and knowledge management practices to improve project delivery and outcomes
