Bold storytelling and strategic design fuel environmental and social transformation. We create campaigns, media, and experiences that help mission-driven organizations shape culture and drive change, from saving oceans to shifting systems. We’re growing our capacity to fund and fuel this work, and we’re looking for a savvy, mission-aligned Grant &amp; Proposal Writer to help us do just that. We’re seeking a driven, strategic, and resourceful Grant &amp; Proposal Writer to help secure funding and partnership opportunities for Fluid Studios’ client projects, original content initiatives (like Rising Tide: The Ocean Podcast), and mission-aligned campaigns. This is a commission-based role — perfect for someone who thrives on results and is excited to help tell compelling stories to funders, partners, and collaborators. What You’ll Do:<ul><li>Research, identify, and assess grant opportunities aligned with Fluid Studios’ mission and work</li><li>Write and submit winning grant proposals, Letters of Intent (LOI), and partnership pitches</li><li>Collaborate with the creative team to articulate vision, scope, budgets, and impact</li><li>Track deadlines, reporting requirements, and progress across active applications</li><li>Maintain a database of grant opportunities and funding sources</li><li>Support relationship building with foundations, government agencies, and private funders</li><li>Help refine narratives for both philanthropic and commercial partnerships </li></ul>What You Bring:<ul><li>Proven experience writing and winning grants or proposals — ideally in nonprofit, government, environmental, or creative sectors</li><li>Exceptional writing, research, and storytelling skills</li><li>A strong understanding of funder expectations and how to make a compelling case for support</li><li>Self-motivation, strong follow-through, and ability to work independently</li><li>Familiarity with climate, state &amp; local government orgs, sustainability, and/or environmental justice issues a plus</li><li>Bonus: experience with budgets, impact frameworks, or reporting </li></ul>What You Get:<ul><li>Commission-based compensation: You’ll receive a percentage of all successfully awarded grants or proposals you help secure</li><li>Flexibility: Work on your schedule from anywhere</li><li>Collaboration: Work with a passionate, purpose-driven team of creatives, strategists, and changemakers</li><li>Impact: Support meaningful storytelling, advocacy, and community engagement efforts at scale</li></ul>
