About the role Energy storage is the missing piece in the power grid of the future. We're now looking for a driven sales professional to join our growing team and scale our impact across the U.S. energy storage landscape. If you're passionate about resilience tech, clean tech, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where customer success is the goal—this role is for you. As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you’ll be on the front lines of our US expansion. Your mission: generate qualified opportunities by identifying and engaging with the right people at the right accounts. This is a high-impact role for someone who’s curious, confident, and excited to learn the energy storage business from the ground up.  You’ll work closely with Account Executives, marketing, and product to drive top-of-funnel momentum and build relationships with stakeholders at utilities, IPPs, BESS integrators, and developers.  Your daily business will involve <ul><li>Research and identify target companies and personas across the U.S. energy storage ecosystem </li><li>Qualify inbound leads and create outbound campaigns targeting strategic accounts </li><li>Reach out via email, LinkedIn, phone, and events to engage prospects </li><li>Book discovery calls and hand off qualified opportunities to AEs </li><li>Maintain clean pipeline data and activity logging in CRM </li><li>Collaborate with sales and marketing to test messaging, content, and outreach strategies </li><li>Stay current on battery analytics, grid-scale storage trends, and relevant policy shifts </li></ul> Your profile <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience</li><li>1–2 years in a sales development, pre-sales, or related commercial role—ideally in SaaS, cleantech, or B2B infrastructure</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Interest in energy, sustainability, or climate tech</li><li>Self-starter with a structured, goal-oriented work ethic</li><li>Experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Salesloft) is a plus</li><li>Technical interest or exposure to battery systems, energy storage, or grid software is a bonus—but not required</li></ul> Benefits TWAICE offers a competitive compensation package designed to reward your contributions and invest in your future. As an Account Executive focused on the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) industry, you will play a key role in growing TWAICE’s presence in the U.S. market. Your core mission is to sell our battery analytics solutions to energy asset owners, developers, and system integrators. You’ll lead end-to-end sales cycles, build relationships with senior decision-makers, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-impact solutions that drive value for our customers. Your daily business will involve <ul><li>Identify and engage prospective customers in the energy storage sector, including BESS integrators, developers, and asset owners</li><li>Own the full sales cycle—from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing</li><li>Conduct compelling product demonstrations and articulate TWAICE’s value proposition</li><li>Partner with customer success and delivery teams to ensure a smooth onboarding and fast time-to-value</li><li>Collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape solutions that meet evolving market needs</li><li>Grow relationships with existing clients to unlock upsell and cross-sell opportunities</li><li>Stay up to date on market trends, customer pain points, and the competitive landscape</li><li>Represent TWAICE at key industry events, conferences, and webinars</li></ul> Your profile <ul><li>3+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally within energy storage, renewables, or enterprise software</li><li>Strong knowledge of battery energy storage systems, utility-scale energy markets, or related technologies</li><li>Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets</li><li>Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills</li><li>Proactive, self-motivated, and highly collaborative</li><li>Willingness to travel as needed</li></ul> Benefits TWAICE offers a competitive compensation package designed to reward your contributions and invest in your future.
