Travel within Westchester County and New York State is required, with occasional availability needed for nights and weekends.</p><h2><strong>Description:</strong><strong><br></strong></h2><p>The Senior Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Westchester Power program, managing program staff and coordinating with cross-functional teams including marketing, outreach, operations, and IT. This role is a critical liaison to municipal and community stakeholders, energy suppliers, and technology partners. The ideal candidate will bring a deep commitment to community empowerment, climate action, and operational excellence. This position requires flexibility to attend and/or present at evening and occasional weekend meetings and events. The Senior Operations Manager reports to the Westchester Power Program Director.</p><h2><strong>Key Responsibilities:<br></strong></h2><ul><li>Oversee day-to-day operations of the program, ensuring timely execution of tasks and adherence to State rules and regulations and established protocols.</li><li>Supervise junior program staff, providing guidance, training, and support for optimal performance.</li><li>Maintain strong relationships with community leaders, energy suppliers, and technology vendors to facilitate program operations.</li><li>Collaborate with the operations team to address program needs effectively.</li><li>Monitor and participate in internal and supplier customer service operations, ensuring coverage matches demand and implementing quality control measures to enhance customer satisfaction.</li><li>Engage with non-participating municipalities to encourage program enrollment, overseeing outreach efforts and regulatory submissions.</li><li>Ensure that the program's website is compliant with applicable rules and regulations.</li><li>Ensure compliance with data security requirements and efficient handling of customer information.</li><li>Coordinate with suppliers and other vendors providing program-specific services, tracking deliverables and financial transactions.</li><li>Prepare and submit required reports to state regulators and community officials, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations.</li><li>Plan and execute promotional events, enhancing the program's visibility and community engagement.</li><li>Coordinate with other programs within Sustainable Westchester to optimize synergy and compatibility among programs.</li><li>Support the Program Director in the development of innovative initiatives for the further development of the program.</li><li>Stay updated on industry developments and regulatory changes, attending relevant workshops and maintaining professional networks.</li><li>Develop, monitor, and adjust the annual operating plan in coordination with program goals and objectives.</li><li>Manage departmental budgets and provide regular reports on financial status to the Program Director.</li><li>Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications.</li></ul><h2><strong>Qualifications:</strong></h2><ul><li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. </li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, operations, or project management, preferably in the nonprofit, clean energy, or startup sectors.</li><li>Experience supervising staff.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a track record of managing complex projects to successful outcomes.</li><li>Demonstrated experience working with or for municipalities or in public-sector partnerships.</li><li>Familiarity with New York State’s energy markets, CCA policy, and energy efficiency programs strongly preferred.</li><li>Proficiency in CRM and project management tools; experience with Salesforce and Asana a plus.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport across a diverse stakeholder base.</li><li>Experience in community engagement, especially with environmental justice or underrepresented communities, is a plus.</li><li>Ability to work evenings and occasional weekends as required.</li></ul><h2><strong>Benefits:</strong></h2><ul><li>Health, dental, and vision benefits.</li><li>Mental Health Resources.</li><li>Generous vacation time along with paid time off for Federal and Religious holidays each year. Senior Operations Manager, Energy Program

Frequent travel within the Hudson Valley (primarily Westchester County)  and New York State is required, with occasional availability needed for nights and weekends.</p><h2><strong>Description:</strong><strong><br></strong></h2><p>The Sustainability Coordinator will provide assistance, education, and support in both English and Spanish to homeowners and renters—particularly in low-to-moderate income and priority communities—on implementing clean energy solutions for their homes. </p><h2><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></h2><p>The Sustainability Coordinator will work with Sustainable Westchester and the Mid Hudson Regional Clean Energy Hub team to:  </p><ul><li>Drive adoption of energy efficiency and clean energy programs through outreach and education (including workshops, public events, energy kit sessions, etc.) in support of NYS energy efficiency and clean energy programs;</li><li>Support residents and building owners in Westchester County with an interest in energy efficiency and clean energy upgrades via phone and email support, application assistance, project status tracking, and effective communication between clients and contractors;</li><li>Become and serve as subject matter resource and respond to questions about the NYSERDA Regional Clean Energy Hub Program;</li><li>Track and communicate updates on clean energy rebate and incentive models, including NYSERDA and NYS Clean Heat programs;</li><li>Contribute to the development of positive relationships with stakeholders, partnering agencies, organizations, and community leaders;</li><li>Respond to information requests and provide general information to stakeholders and the public regarding energy issues;</li><li>Collaborate with marketing to develop outreach strategies and materials that apply subject matter expertise to engage priority audiences, including non-English-speaking communities.</li><li>Contribute input into the planning of all programs to consider the needs of diverse program participants;</li><li>Conduct monthly Salesforce reporting on project updates, outreach and engagement opportunities, and accomplishments.</li><li>Providing outreach support to other Sustainable Westchester programs.</li></ul><h2><strong>Qualifications:</strong></h2><ul><li>This is an entry-level role with no prior professional experience required.</li><li>Fluency in Spanish is required.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to engage with diverse communities.</li><li>Meticulous attention to detail.</li><li>Thrives in dynamic settings and can adapt to shifting priorities.</li><li>Willingness to attend events during evenings and weekends.</li><li>Proficient in standard office applications, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.</li><li>Quick to absorb new information and able to convey ideas clearly through spoken, written, and visual formats.</li><li>Capable of juggling long-term initiatives alongside day-to-day responsibilities—skilled at prioritizing, organizing, and meeting tight deadlines.</li><li>Able to lift and move up to 40 pounds of materials to multiple locations within Westchester County.</li><li>Must hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable, fully insured vehicle.</li></ul><h2><strong>Benefits:</strong></h2><ul><li>Health, dental, and vision benefits.</li><li>Mental Health Resources.</li><li>Generous vacation time along with paid time off for Federal and Religious holidays each year.
